2006-12-11 [moira hawthorne]: actually Pegasus was the personal name of one flying horse! from greek myth... like here is my horse Fred. there is no plural for it... and its not the race name for the fantasy creature of flying horses.

2006-12-11 [Forever Equine]: We all know who Pegasus was, it's in the description at ECM Pegasus or at least it was. For those who don't know, Pegasus was the offspring of the Greek God Posiedon and the gorgon, Medusa. But how often do you find different interpretations of the creature? Seeing as how it is mythology and not fact, we can take whatever we want and make it into something new. Perhaps in our fantasy world, there is a race of "pegasi". Not everything is so black and white.
